It’s been a long road for Boston rapper, Avenue.
Since the release of his debut album The Chandelier View back in 2015, the South End/Lower Roxbury native has been working non-stop in silence, but little did we know, he was working hard on his sophomore offering, Mass Ave & Lenox. After releasing cuts from the album these past couple weeks, Avenue returns with the project in full. Coming in with 14 tracks and a bonus cut, Ave calls on the services of Boston natives Deon Chase & Prano, as well as Royce 5’9, Smoke DZA, and Ariez Onasis with production handled by Cooking to Kill (Frank The Butcher & The Arcitype) Dj7L (Czarface), Joe Cutz, Latrell James & Tedd Boyd, D. Sanders, OG Wally West & Rico Sauve.
There’s an unavoidable ugliness in street life but Avenue finds the beauty in it.
