Since the release of Solange‘s A Seat At The Table, social media has been in a whirlwind – from comparing the project to her sister Beyonce‘s Lemonade, to rants by fans on how proud they were of the celebration of black magic.

Serving as her fourth studio album (third full-length project), A Seat at the Table has landed the Saint Heron songstress at number one on the Billboard charts, beating Bon Iver’s 22, A Million. Iver’s third album was initially predicted to take the number one spot, but fell short at number two.

According to Nielsen Music, A Seat at the Table sold 72,000 album units in the first week (46,000 in traditional album sales), while Bon Iver’s 22, A Million, followed behind with 71,000 units (58,000 in traditional album sales).

A Seat at the Table just three days before its release on digital retailers and streaming services via her independent label Saint Heron, distributed by Columbia Records. This serves as a follow up to her 2012 EP, True.

Physical copies of A Seat at the Table will release November 18th.

Chris Brown Releases New Quavo Diss Track ‘Weakest Link’ miixtapechiick

Last week, Chris Brown released the deluxe version of his November album, “11:11” where he decided to diss former Migos member Quavo on a track titled, “Freak.”

F***ing my old b***hes ain’t gon’ make us equal,” he rapped referring to his Quavo previously dating his ex-girlfriend, Karruche Tran.

He also spit, “Sipping that 1942 cause I don’t do no Cuervo (Quavo) / Freak b***h, she like Casamigos, not the Migos.”

Quavo responded 24 hours later with ‘Tender‘; however, it didn’t seem to make much noise. Chris Brown decided to take things up a notch, releasing a full-fledged diss record towards Quavo titled ‘Weakest Link.’ Mentioning his name and being much more direct, Brown alludes to the fact that he slept with Saweetie, addresses sitting next to him at the Rhude Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show, mentions that it should’ve been him to die instead of Takeoff, and much more.
