Last week, Jaguar Wright appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she discussed Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest. During the interview, she referred to both Diddy and JAY-Z as “monsters,” and claimed that the Roc Nation rapper and his wife, Beyoncé, were also responsible for harming hundreds of victims.

On Tuesday, October 8, Piers Morgan issued a public apology on YouTube and released an edited version of Wright’s interview that omitted her accusations. In his statement, Morgan explained:

“Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored but like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”

Morgan continued, “The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear. That’s why we invited [Wright] on to be interviewed. The people making these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”

Young Dolph Murder Suspect Claims Yo Gotti's Brother Big Jook Placed $100K Bounty on Rapper miixtapechiick

The murder trial of Young Dolph began on Monday, September 23.

During the trial of his co-defendant Justin Johnson, murder suspect Cornelius Smith took the stand and admitted to shooting the rapper, whose real name was Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., outside Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis on November 17, 2021. The shooting, which occurred in broad daylight, was reportedly part of a $100,000 bounty placed by Yo Gottis brother, Big Jook.

Yo Gotti and Young Dolph had a well-known feud dating back to 2016. In September 2017, an associate of Yo Gotti was arrested for attempted murder after a shooting targeting Dolph, but the charges were later dropped.

Smith testified that he was the one seen firing the semi-automatic weapon in the CCTV footage of Dolph’s murder. While Johnson is the only one of the three suspects currently on trial, Smith’s testimony was pivotal in building the case against him.

Smith also revealed that he had only received $800 of the promised $100,000 payment before his arrest, with Big Jook later adding $50,000 to his lawyer’s retainer. “I wasn’t feeling anything at the time,” Smith stated. “I’m not gonna lie. I was just trying to get some money.”

Big Jook, born Anthony Mims, lost his life earlier this year on January 13 following a shooting incident at a Memphis restaurant after a funeral service. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to Fox 13 Memphis.

Yo Gotti has yet to comment on the allegations that his brother was involved in Dolph’s death.
