Jacquees ruffled up some feathers last year when he proclaimed himself as the “King of R&B.”

“I just wanna let everybody know that I’m the king of R&B right now for this generation,” the singer stated in an Instagram video. “I understand who done came and who done did that and that and that, but now it’s my turn … I’ve been feelin’ like that. ATL let’s get it. I’m the new king of R&B.”

Though many disagreed, the topic went viral on social media as Jacquees continued to lace us with remixes to favorite hit R&B records. Taking things up a notch, the Cash Money/Rich Gang singer returns with the release of his sophomore album, King of R&B.

Serving as a follow up to his debut album, 4275, Jacquees taps on the services of Tory Lanez, Young Thug, Gunna, Quavo, Bluff City and T.I. for verses on the 18-track effort.
