Album Stream: DJ Khaled – Father of Asahd

DJ Khaled has released his 11th studio album, Father of Asahd.

Pushing the album a week up from it’s original release day, May 25, Khaled took to social media on Wednesday, May 15, a heartfelt message as to why he did not promote the album the way fans had expect him too.

With the death of his dear friend, Nipsey Hussle, the We The Best Music curator vowed to preserve Hussle’s mission alongside his co-writers, producers and label partners by “donating 100% of all our proceeds from “Higher” to Nipsey’s children, Emani and Kross.”

“Higher” is the lead single off of Father of Asahd, which features Hussle and John Legend. The video for the single was shot just days before Hussle was murdered.

Father of Asahd features contributions from Jay Z, Cardi B, Chris Brown, Post Malone, Rick Ross, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Gunna, Chance The Rapper, SZA, Big Sean, Beyonce and more.
