It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a project from Big Sean. Releasing his I Decided album back in 2017, the rapper is ready to return to the game with the sequel to his 2012 mixtape, Detroit.

While on Instagram Live with DJ Khaled, Sean confirmed that the album was “pretty much done.”

Big Sean also revealed that the album cover was set and ready to go, sharing it with J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott.

Though Big Sean wouldn’t reveal how many tracks the album would consist of, the rapper previously unveiled that featured guest appearances in March with his “Fifth Album Announcement” visual, boasting features from Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Post Malone, Jhené Aiko, and A$AP Rocky.

When describing the forthcoming project, Big Sean stated that he hopes this album touches people and results in those people tapping into their own success. “My thing is, I want people to feel the vibration of it and rise to their success though, more so than anything… The most satisfying thing is to see the people who you helped along the way change the world with you.”
