Bryson Tiller Kicks Off New Era With 'The Vices' miixtapechiick

Bryson Tiller is back — and he’s doing it big. The Louisville hitmaker just dropped The Vices, the first half of his highly anticipated double album Solace & The Vices, marking a fresh chapter in his career.

If you’ve been following Tiller, you know Solace and The Vices are two sides of the same coin. Back on May 27, he surprised fans on Instagram with the announcement, breaking down exactly what each half means to him.

“S O L A C E – somber, vulnerable, my own personal therapy session. Saying things I wouldn’t normally say out loud. Inspired by the season my life changed forever, FALL. THE VICES – Fun, energetic, bars on bars, summer vibes, leaning into my ‘other’ side,” he wrote.

Now, The Vices is here — and it’s built for right now. High-energy, bar-heavy, and tailor-made for summer, the 12-track project comes stacked with guest appearances from Rick Ross, Plies, T-Pain, Bun B, Luh Tyler, BossMan Dlow and Baby Drill, with production handled by Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka and Gravez.

The cover shows Tiller in a white tank top, layered chains, and glasses, looking directly into the sunlight. It’s a sharp contrast from the placeholder image he teased earlier — the one with the ski mask — which he addressed on Instagram, writing: “No more hiding behind ski masks to chase my Vices. Finding Solace in other ways.”

Tiller didn’t release any singles ahead of time, so fans are getting the full experience in one shot. This drop comes right after his feature on Chris Brown’s “It Depends,” which just earned him his second No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart.

It’s been a steady build to this moment. Between his viral Slum Tiller Vol. 2 mixtape, the breakout success of “Whatever She Wants,” his 2024 self-titled album, and now The Vices, Bryson’s momentum is undeniable.

Right now, he’s also on the road with Chris Brown for the Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour, which kicked off June 8 in Amsterdam. Solace is still on the way, but until then, Tiller’s made sure The Vices gives fans enough heat to hold them over.

Kanye West‘s long-awaited album Bully is officially out. The project arrived Friday, March 27 via his new partnership with Gamma and is available now on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Bully was first announced for June 15, 2025 and was pushed back multiple times due to leaks, label changes, personal controversies, and criticism over AI use. The digital version available on streaming does not contain AI, which West confirmed earlier in the week. The vinyl version of the album, which has a different tracklist, does contain AI.

The album includes contributions from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Nine Vicious, Ty Dolla $ign, Peso Pluma and CeeLo Green. West also incorporates sampled material throughout the project, including The Supremes‘ “You Can’t Hurry Love” on the track “I Can’t Wait” and Stevie Wonder‘s rendition of “Close To You” on “White Lines,” which features Andre Troutman.
