Cardi B Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio Comments

Published

Following Nicki Minaj‘s comments on Queen radio this past Monday, Cardi B returned to Instagram with a series of videos as her response.

In the first video, Cardi B immediately denied that Rah Ali had touched the “Money” rapper as well as the fight being caught on video.

“How you sayin’ that I got ragged by Rah Ali when there’s so many footages of that night, every single angle and where am I getting raged at?” she asked. “Why would I be here sittin’ online, like, ‘Oh yeah, I did this, I did that,’ knowing that the next day there was gonna be so much footages of that same night? And second of all, how you say that I was the wild animal, that I attacked you, that you was mortified, that you was humiliated, playing victim, but now you the gangsta? You need to pick a side. Do you want to be the victim or do you want to be the gangsta? You lie so much, you can’t even keep up with your fuckin’ lies.”

Cardi B continued with her next point about Minaj’s claim of Cardi asking her for a verse on “Bartier Cardi” and making her change the “Motor Sport” line: “Cardi the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi/Bitch, you my son, go and sit on the potty.”

“Bitch, you not my coach ’cause you never helped me to get into this fucking career, and I’m nothing like you,” said Cardi, “so I’m definitely not your fucking son. I’m a real ass person, you not, so fuck outta here.”

Cardi B told her that she would not take part in the video unless the line was removed. The line was changed to “Quavo the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi” the night before the shoot.

Minaj also made the claim that 21 Savage did not take part in Farruko, Bad Bunny, and Rvssian’s “Krippy Kush” video because Cardi told him not to. Cardi denied the accusation and posted a conversation between her and Farruko, which backed up Cardi’s point.

In the rest of the videos, Cardi B blasts Nicki Minaj and responds to claims about Minaj’s payola, the Diesel campaign, and her verse on Little Mix‘s “Women Like Me.”

Regarding Payola:

“Since you talking about suing, maybe I should sue you for defamation of character since you wanna claim that I’m using something illegal called payola because you don’t understand why I am so fucking successful,” she said. “Why is it that when people want to listen to me, you cannot believe it? That I gotta be cheating for that.”

The Diesel campaign:

“That Diesel deal that you got, yeah, that came to me first and I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands.”

Verse on Little Mix’s “Women Like Me.”

“That ‘Woman Like Me’ record, I had to decline it because I’m doing a lot of pop records so I can’t oversaturate myself,” said Cardi. “But that came to me first and then they gave it to you.”

Cardi B then played the original demo on video.

Megan Thee Stallion‘s lawyer, Alex Spiro, addressed the lawsuit filed by Megan Thee Stallion’s former cameraman Emilio Garcia, alleging sexual harassment and a hostile work environment. Spiro, in a statement to Page Six on Tuesday (April 23), dismissed the lawsuit as an opportunistic money grab and characterized it as an attempt to tarnish his client’s reputation.

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” he said. “We will deal with this in court.”

The suit details an incident where Garcia allegedly found himself trapped in a moving SUV with Megan whileshe engaged in sexual activity with another woman during their time in Ibiza, Spain.

According to court documents, “The following day, STALLION inquired whether PLAINTIFF was in the SUV the previous night. PLAINTIFF confirmed that he was in the SUV. Subsequently, STALLION instructed, ‘Don’t ever discuss what you saw.’ STALLION berated and directed her fat-shaming comments towards PLAINTIFF such as ‘Fat Bitch,’ ‘Spit your food out,’ and that ‘You don’t need to be eating.’”

Garcia is seeking compensation of over six figures, Garcia’s lawsuit requests unpaid wages, overtime pay, and other benefits as per California labor laws, along with statutory penalties and punitive damages.

Megan Thee Stallion Faces New Lawsuit: Former Cameraman Alleges Sexual Harassment and Hostile Work Environment miixtapechiick

Megan Thee Stallion is being sued by her former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, alleging sexual harassment and a hostile work environment, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, Apr. 23, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The suit obtained by NBC News outlines Garcia’s claims, alleging that he had been trapped in a moving vehicle with the Houston rapper in Ibiza while she engaged in sexual activity with another woman. Following this incident, Garcia says he was cautioned not to discuss what he witnessed and was subsequently subjected to beratement, fat-shaming, and differential treatment by Megan.

“What I learned throughout the years is that, especially coming from an from an office environment, is you know, there’s no HR department in the entertainment business,” Garcia told NBC News in an interview. “So if you don’t know that you’re being done wrong, you don’t really know how to advocate for yourself until you start asking maybe you start asking your peers who have representation, they have agents, they have management, they have attorney. So I just really just want to encourage people to advocate for themselves.”

Garcia also stated in the lawsuit that the severity and frequency of the harassment created an intolerable work environment. Garcia began his role as Megan Thee Stallion’s personal cameraman in 2018, continuing until June 2023. Seeking compensation of over six figures, Garcia’s lawsuit requests unpaid wages, overtime pay, and other benefits as per California labor laws, along with statutory penalties and punitive damages.

Following the Ibiza incident, Garcia claims his payment structure shifted from a flat monthly rate to a task-based system requiring invoice submissions for each assignment. Subsequently, he was terminated in June 2023 by Roc Nation, with notification that his services were no longer needed.

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct,” said Ron Zambrano, an attorney for Garcia, in a statement to NBC News. “Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal.”
