After hosting alongside Jimmy Fallon last night on The Tonight Show, Cardi B made her way to The Breakfast Club this morning to continue her promotional run for her debut album, Invasion of Privacy.

During her interview, the Bronx rapper addressed why she kept her pregnancy a secret with fiance, Offset:

“The baby thing, it was also a relief but it’s something that was, like, nerve-wracking, you know?” she said. “Trying to hide it, but not even just trying to hide it. But it’s just, like, what people will say. I don’t know why it makes me sensitive. It makes me too sensitive.”

Why she continued to do performances despite being pregnant:

“It’s just like, OK, I’m pregnant but I have a game plan,” she said. “I just wanted to show people, not the critics, mostly the people around me, the people I work with. It’s, like, y’all gonna have a job still.”

Cardi B also talks about her past profession as a stripper, why she decided to keep her unborn child, the meaning behind her album title, upcoming Coachella performance and much more.
