Cassie Continues Testimony in Diddy Trial, Describes Further Alleged Abuse
Casandra “Cassie” Ventura remained on the stand Tuesday (May 13) afternoon in the federal criminal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, offering further testimony about what she described as a decade marked by coercion, psychological abuse, and sexual exploitation. Speaking under her legal name, Ventura was questioned by Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson for the duration of the afternoon session.
Among the allegations, Ventura testified that Combs asked her to call him “Pop Pop,” explaining, “He asked me what I called my grandfather… I did it but now I think it was disrespectful.”
When asked how many songs she recorded while signed to Bad Boy Records, Ventura said she recorded hundreds but saw little return. “Most were never released. Some got leaked on the Internet. Some on mix tapes,” she said. Of the albums she was contracted to make, she stated, “Nine [albums] were not released,” and confirmed she “did not” receive payment for them.
She went on to describe an alleged incident involving Suge Knight. “We were having a freak-off in L.A. D-Roc came in and said Suge was down at a diner. Sean drove over there,” she testified. “I cried, said don’t do something stupid.”
Cassie also recalled being handed a firearm during another incident: “We were going to a club in downtown L.A. We’d taken mushrooms, I was high. I was told to put the gun in my bag. I was freaking out.” She named Combs, a driver, and security as those present at the time.
Johnson then shifted to questions about the nature of the so-called “freak-offs,” which Ventura previously described as encounters involving escorts and filmed sex acts. Asked why she initially agreed to participate, she said, “Good question. I wanted to make him happy.” The first event took place at “one of his homes in Los Angeles,” she said.
Ventura confirmed that she attempted to end her participation. “Yes. I was humiliated. I didn’t have those words then. I couldn’t talk to anyone about it,” she said, choking up on the stand. She added, “I brought it up gently. I didn’t want him to just do it with someone else… I didn’t want him to be angry.”
Regarding a specific incident previously mentioned in opening statements, Ventura testified that she did not consent to being urinated on. “No, I did not want it,” she told the court. When asked how it felt, she responded, “It was disgusting. It was too much. I choked. No one could think I wanted it.” She later confirmed that Combs also urinated on her. “I didn’t want anyone to urinate on me… [It happened] often enough.”
The jury was dismissed shortly before the court turned to a pending issue: whether members of the media will be allowed to view any of the “freak-off” videos prosecutors intend to present as evidence. Judge Arun Subramanian ruled against allowing a press pool to view the footage. “I am provisionally denying any pool viewing. That’s my reading of Maxwell,” he said, referencing a previous ruling in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.
Cassie’s direct testimony is expected to continue Wednesday morning.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent
D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”
The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Three Members of Danity Kane Say Two Others Booked a June 20 Show Without Their Knowledge
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.
A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”
The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
