City Girls Release Their New Single ‘Piñata’
Just a day after releasing their LL Cool J-sampled track, “I Need A Thug,” the City Girls return with their brand new single, ‘Piñata.’
Previously teasing the record at numerous shows including Rolling Loud: California and Dreamville Fest, the highly anticipated track is finally on streaming services and does not disappoint. Yesterday, Complex caught up with the City Girls where they gave some insight on what to expect on their new album.
“It’s just a perfection thing right now,” she explained. “I don’t want to put out nothing corny. I feel like we’ve been here too long, and I don’t even want to play how we used to. I want the music to be good and hit. It’s still p***y rap, like it’ll be fun but much more elevated. It’s elevated p***y rap.”
Piñata serves as a follow-up to City Girls’ appearance alongside Diddy and Fabolous on ‘Act Bad.’

As fans anticipate the release of his forthcoming album, Everybody Can’t Go, Benny The Butcher holds fans over with the Hit-Boy-produced single, “One Foot In.” A follow up to the Lil Wayne-assisted track, “Big Dog,” The Butcher’s latest effort features a verse from frequent collaborator, Stove God Cooks.

For those fortunate enough to have experienced Beyoncé‘s latest concert film and documentary, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé,” a surprise awaits during the rolling credits. A song, identified as “My House,” is played, performed by the songstress herself, and is co-written and produced by the frequent collaborator The-Dream.
To commemorate the film’s release, Beyoncé has officially made the song available on streaming services.
