Drake Announces ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Release Date On Sportscenter

Drake’s highly anticipated album has finally gotten a release date, September 3rd.

Seven months ago, Drake announced the delay of Certified Lover Boy due to recovery from his knee surgery. As tension builds between him and Kanye West, the Toronto artist decided to leverage his relationship with Sportscenter and use the platform to reveal the official release date for Certified Lover Boy through a cryptic message.

This week, Rick Ross share a text message between him and Drake following a phone discussion where the two spoke about the beef with Kanye. Drake responded with, “Everything is unfolding… I’m about to be as free as a bird 🦉”

Big Sean Shares ‘Million Pieces’ Demo (Prod. by Hit-Boy)




Following his appearance alongside Detroit native Babyface Ray‘s “Ain’t My Fault” with Hit-Boy, Big Sean returned to Instagram to share with fans a new demo titled “Million Pieces” over another Hit-Boy production.

“Hit sent me this loop n I started building,” Sean wrote in the caption.

This weekend, Big Sean will be in Detroit for his 3rd Annual Detroit’s On Now (D.O.N.) Weekend Saturday, August 28 – Sunday, August 29. Presented by the Sean Anderson Foundation (SAF), Detroit’s On Now Weekend will be hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) and City Council President Pro-Tem Mary Sheffield.

“This past year and a half has been challenging for everyone. I’m glad we can bring D.O.N. Weekend back and celebrate the people who make this city great,” said Big Sean. “With all the hurdles Detroit has faced during the pandemic, it’s so important to bring the city together in a positive way.”
