Despite the recent petitions, protests, and outcries from music moguls and entertainers to release Meek Mill after his unjust sentence, it looks like their efforts were to no avail.

According to Fox 29 Philly, it was just reported that Meek Mill’s request to be released early was denied following his two to four year sentencing for violation of probation.

The motion requested by Meek Mill’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, was to not only have Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley off the case due to her alleged personal vendettas but to get an early release for the ‘Dreams And Nightmare’ rapper. Unfortunately, the state’s Superior Court denied the request for an early release but instead directed a lower court to handle the case.
