Dave East Drops John Wick-Inspired Album ‘Fortune Favors The Bold’
Following the release of his previous project, Book of David, with Buda & Grandz and DJ Drama, Harlem rapper Dave East makes his return with his brand new album, Fortune Favors The Bold. Inspired by Keanu Reeves character, John Wick, this album showcases Dave East’s lyrical mastery and solidifies his position as one of the most talented rappers in the game.
Jam-packed with 24 tracks, Fortune Favors The Bold features contributions from Kid Capri, Cordae, Coi Leray, Ghostface Killah, Stacy Barthe, Tyga, G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jadakiss with production handled by Cool & Dre, Mike N Keys, Don Cannon, Mike WiLL Made-It, RZA and more.
“I Googled John Wick’s tattoo,” Dave East explained. “I thought about what Fortune Favors The Bold meant to me, and it totally fit the album.”
“I had to be bold to continue doing what I’m doing and dealing with all of the hate, the love, and the sh*t I’ve dealt with,” he added. “I never let it affect my journey. I’ve seen a lot of fortune I didn’t know I was going to see by being bold and not taking ‘No’ for an answer. This is a statement.”

GRAMMY-nominated artist GloRilla has officially dropped her highly anticipated debut album, GLORIOUS, through CMG Records.
The album includes hit singles like “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF,” and “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, with additional appearances from Latto, Sexyy Red, Kirk Franklin, T-Pain, Muni Long, and more. Packed with 24 tracks, Post Traumatic includes the singles “Robbery 7” and “Suffer In Silence,” with consists of an impressive lineup of guest artists, including J. Cole, Tink, Mariah the Scientist, Hunxho, YTB Fatt, G Herbo, Future, Fridayy, 42 Dugg, and his younger brother, Baby Grizzley.
“My best work to date, with some of the best artists,” the Detroit native shared, reflecting on the project ahead of its release.
