Dave East – Momma Working (Video)
Signed to Nas‘ label Mass Appeal, Harlem’s own Dave East is on the rise. “Momma Working” off his album Hate Me Now shows East reminiscing about his time in the streets while his mother was at work. In Karen Civil’s Welcome to My Neighborhood documentary, East named this song one of two he thinks really represents him and where he’s coming from.
