Demi Lovato has just been rushed to an L.A. hospital (1:30 PST) after a heroin overdose. According to TMZ, the singer was treated with Narcan – an emergency treatment used for overdoses via narcotics – at her Hollywood Hills home.

Lovato celebrated 6 years of being substance abuse free back in March; as she was treated for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm, and addiction back in 2011. After leaving the treatment center, the 25-year-old relapsed and then entered a sober living facility for a year.

Demi Lovato released her new single “Sober” last month where she admitted struggling with drugs and relapsing. The singer recently performed alongside Iggy Azalea at the California Midstate Fair in Paso Robles.
