DJ Akademiks Details Second Deposition in Megan Thee Stallion vs. Milagro Gramz Case

Court Orders DJ Akademiks to Testify In-Person in Megan Thee Stallion Civil Case miixtapechiick

DJ Akademiks is once again speaking out about his involvement in Megan Thee Stallion’s ongoing lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.

Back in October, a federal judge granted Megan’s motion to compel Ak — real name Livingston Allen — to sit for a second deposition after her legal team accused him of being uncooperative the first time around. According to court documents obtained by miixtapechiick.com, the deposition was limited to 45 minutes and focused only on the source of a specific social media post mentioned in Megan’s second amended complaint.

The in-person deposition took place at the U.S. Courthouse in Trenton, NJ, and was arranged by both parties.

Now, DJ Akademiks is breaking down what went down behind closed doors. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ak claimed the second round was more focused than his first, which he says oddly centered around Drake and Nicki Minaj — two artists unrelated to the case.

“Just did my second roc nation Meg thee stallion deposition,” he wrote on Oct. 22. “This time they tried to act right .. no more Nicki n drake questions. Shout out to the Jersey federal judge keeping roc nation in line.”

He continued, “Roc nation n meg had to spend over $150k on all the deposition shit wit me. They got 10 lawyers on there watchin takin notes the first time and DON’T wanna talk bout Milagro or Meg lol they wanted Drake n Nicki lol. Who funding this?? Math ain’t makin sense.”

Akademiks also claims Roc Nation’s legal team — Quinn Emanuel — billed $3K an hour and had 7-10 lawyers present, estimating the overall cost between $150K and $200K. He called the whole thing harassment and questioned the purpose of allegedly spending that much money “to ask bout Nicki for 8 hours.”

“For clarity,” he added, “the case I was deposed in has nothing to do with Drake & Nicki. It’s Meg suing a blogger, Milagro. Most of the questions seem to surround a theory suggesting Drake, Nicki & Tory are paying people to talk bad about Meg/Roc Nation.”

As previously reported, Megan is suing Milagro Gramz for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and cyberstalking, accusing her of pushing conspiracy theories and sharing AI-generated explicit content following the 2020 shooting involving Tory Lanez.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent miixtapechiick

D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.

A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”

The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

Ice Spice and Woman Throw Hands at Hollywood McDonald's miixtapechiick

Ice Spice threw hands with a woman at a McDonald’s in Hollywood on Wednesday, April 15, and the whole thing was caught on camera.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Ice Spice was at the restaurant with a friend when a woman approached their table uninvited and tried to squeeze in next to them. When Ice Spice and her friend asked her to leave, the woman slapped her. A brief scuffle followed before the woman’s friend pulled her away.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.

The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”

Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
