Earlier this week, Doja Cat began counting down the days until the release of her single, ‘Attention.’

Unveiling the artwork this week, “Attention” serves as Doja Cat’s first release since “Vegas” from the 2022 ELVIS soundtrack. Doja Cat has made it clear that she is ushering in a new era after referring to her previous projects, “Hot Pink” and “Planet Her,” released in 2019 and 2021 respectively, as “cash grabs” in a now-deleted tweet.

“And y’all fell for it,” she wrote. “Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y’all weep for mediocre pop.”

The multi-talented artist was spotted earlier this week vacationing in Los Cabos, Mexico, with her boyfriend, TikTok comedian J. Cyrus, 36, and friends.

Doja Cat’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” spawned the hit singles “Need to Know,” “Kiss Me More” with SZA, and “Woman,” making it her highest charting entry on the Billboard 200 to date.
