Drake Announces OVO Sound’s First Female Artist, Naomi Sharon

Last night, Drake took to Instagram to announce the first lady of OVO Sound, Naomi Sharon.

The Dutch & Caribbean singer-songwriter and actor released her first single under the OVO Sound imprint titled, ‘Another Life.’

“I been waiting for this day for too long now where the world finally gets to digest the insane amount of work you have put in since we met,” Drake wrote. “My dear friend just dropped her single Another Life on OVO SOUND”

The 26-year-old share her excitement about the label deal telling Drake, “I will be forever thankful for this insane opportunity you gave me. Finally, we can share this with the world. Big love.”

Producer and co-founder of OVO Sound Noah ’40’ Shebib also took to Instagram to express his excitement over Sharon’s signing. “I’m honoured to be a part of this journey. I’m so proud of you and can’t wait for the world to hear the rest of what you’ve been working on.”

‘Another Life’ is a follow-up to Naomi Sharon’s 2022 release, ‘Hills.’

Tee Grizzley Releases New Album 'Post Traumatic' miixtapechiick

Tee Grizzley experienced a successful year in 2023 with the release of his hit single, “IDGAF,” featuring Chris Brown and Mariah the Scientist, off his fourth studio album, Tee’s Coney Island. Building on this momentum, Tee Grizzley is back with his latest effort Post Traumatic, released through Grizzley Gang and 300 Entertainment.

Packed with 24 tracks, Post Traumatic includes the singles “Robbery 7” and “Suffer In Silence,” with consists of an impressive lineup of guest artists, including J. Cole, Tink, Mariah the Scientist, Hunxho, YTB Fatt, G Herbo, Future, Fridayy, 42 Dugg, and his younger brother, Baby Grizzley.

“My best work to date, with some of the best artists,” the Detroit native shared, reflecting on the project ahead of its release.
