At midnight, the highly-anticipated moment arrived as Travis Scott released his fourth studio album, Utopia.

One of the standout tracks, “Meltdown,” featuring none other than Drake, set the world ablaze. Over production handled by Boi-1da, Coleman, BNYX, Vinylz, and Tay Keith, Drake aimed shots at fellow artists, Virginia natives Pusha T and Pharrell.

“Man, f**k all that spinning the narrative shit/I melt down the chains that I bought from your boss,” Drake raps. “Give a f**k about all of that heritage shit/Since V not around the members done hung up the Louis/They not even wearing that shit.”

Drake acquired Pharrell’s jewelry collection, valued at $3.3 million, through an exclusive auction hosted by Pharrell himself. The collection featured Pharrell’s notable skateboard pendant and a 14K three-tone N.E.R.D pendant chain in which Drake was seen sporting the pieces in the ‘Jumbotron Shit Poppin‘ visual taken from his Her Loss project with 21 Savage.

Promoting his latest collaboration with Travis Scott, Drake took to Instagram Stories to showcase 2Pac‘s ring, which he recently acquired for $1 million. Sotheby‘s, the auction house responsible for selling the ring, had originally estimated its value to be between $200,000 and $300,000. However, the final sale price surpassed all expectations, making it the most valuable hip-hop artifact ever sold.

This historic ring holds immense significance as it was worn by Tupac Shakur during his final public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 4, 1996.
