Dreamville’s JID Releases ‘Surround Sound’ Featuring 21 Savage & Baby Tate
Last year, Dreamville’s J. Cole returned with his brand new album, The Off-Season, while Cozz dropped his Fortunate EP and Earthgang released their two singles, “Run It Up” with Snakehips and “Options” with Wale, featuring Coi Leray.
Starting January off, Dreamville’s JID is gearing up to release his new album, The Forever Story, and decides to tap on 21 Savage and Baby Tate for his leading single, “Surround Sound.” Over the production of DJ Scheme and Cristo, the record allows Baby Tate to shine while JID and 21 Savage go toe-to-toe on the track.
“Surround Sound” samples Mos Def’s 2003-single, “Ms. Fat Booty.”
TFS will serve as a sequel to JID’s 2017 debut, The Never Story.

Tee Grizzley experienced a successful year in 2023 with the release of his hit single, “IDGAF,” featuring Chris Brown and Mariah the Scientist, off his fourth studio album, Tee’s Coney Island. Building on this momentum, Tee Grizzley is back with his latest effort Post Traumatic, released through Grizzley Gang and 300 Entertainment.
Packed with 24 tracks, Post Traumatic includes the singles “Robbery 7” and “Suffer In Silence,” with consists of an impressive lineup of guest artists, including J. Cole, Tink, Mariah the Scientist, Hunxho, YTB Fatt, G Herbo, Future, Fridayy, 42 Dugg, and his younger brother, Baby Grizzley.
“My best work to date, with some of the best artists,” the Detroit native shared, reflecting on the project ahead of its release.

After supporting one another on Missy Elliott‘s Out of This World tour these last few months, Ciara and Busta Rhymes team up on a new record together titled, “Wassup.”
While BIA continues to accompany Nicki Minaj on the second leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour: Gag City Reloaded, the Perico Princess is back with a brand new single, Pissed Off, featuring Lil Yachty. This release serves as a follow-up to her June collaboration with JID on the “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” soundtrack cut, “LIGHTS OUT.”
