It’s been a tough week for Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion who has been facing legal troubles with her independent label 1501 Certified Entertainment, after allegedly holding her music as retaliation for wanting to negotiate her contract. In response, the Hot Girl has filed a lawsuit against the label and CEO Carl Crawford “to do nothing to prevent the release, distribution, and sale of [Megan] Pete’s new records.”

However, Thee Stallion comes out victorious after the week long battle with the release of her new EP, Suga. Ahead of her debut album, Megan taps on the services of Kehlani and Gunna for the 9-track effort.
