Marking two years since the release of her album Saturn, UK songstress NAO returns with her latest project, And Then Life Was Beautiful. An album she worked on following the birth of her daughter at the beginning of the pandemic, NAO told The Independent that the project kickstarted her healing process: “I loved that I had something to focus on…It lit a fire in me.”

And Then Life Was Beautiful features production handled by LOXE, Grades, D’Mile and Sarz with guest appearances from Lucky Daye, Adekunle Gold and Lianne La Havas.

“I’ve been through enough to know what I can and can’t deal with.”

As he continues to embark on his “A Gangsta’s Pain” tour, Moneybagg Yo delivers the official remix to his viral Tik Tok single/album-cut, “Wockesha.” The Memphis rapper taps on the services Lil Wayne and Ashanti, which was only right as Wayne is heard on the original version serving as the intro while Ashanti’s 2002-single, “Foolish” serves as the sample.

“First thing first, Perc’ popper, drink always muddy,” Wayne raps. “Flooded, crushed ice in the cup, it look diamond studded/Slushy, fuckin’ codeine raw, but I ain’t bussin’/Throw her in the drink, she throw me in park, and I ain’t budgin’.”
