Five Members of O-Block Arrested in FBG Duck’s Murder Case

Five alleged gang members  — Charles Liggins, Kenneth Roberson, Tacarlos Offerd, Christopher Thomas and Marcus Smart —  of O-Block have been arrested in connection to FBG Duck’s murder.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago, the O-Block gang fatally shot Carlton Weekly, also known as FBG Duck, in Aug. 2020 while him and two other men were shopping in the Gold Coast neighborhood.  FBG Duck was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago believes O-Block has “claimed responsibility for acts of violence in Chicago and used social media and music to increase their criminal enterprise.”

The five defendants have entered a not guilty plea and are being charged with committing murder in aid of racketeering, assault in the aid of racketeering and various weapons charges.

FBG Duck’s mother, Lasheena Weekly, responded to the news in a video: “[The feds] just called me and told me they arrested Muwop, they arrested C-Thang, they arrested…two more, five people that they have in custody,” she said in the video. “The lil boy who killed himself August the 24, was one of the shooters that shot my son — they just told me that, too. … You heard it from me first. They got they ass. They got them muthafuckas.”

Liggins, Offerd, Thomas, Smart and Roberson face a mandatory minimum sentence of life in prison and the maximum sentence of the death penalty.

Virgil Abloh Dead At 41 After Privately Battling Rare Cancer

It is with profound loss that we announce the death of designer, Virgil Abloh.

According to LVMH and a statement via Virgil’s Instagram account, the renowned artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection and CEO of the Off-White label, passed away after privately battling “a rare, aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma.” He was 41 years-old.

“We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend,” according to the statement posted on Abloh’s’s Instagram account. “He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Abloh, his children Lowe Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh, and numerous dear friends and colleagues.”

Abloh is responsible for the artwork of several hip hop albums, including JAY-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne, ASAP Rocky‘s Long.Live.A$AP and Kanye West‘s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, just to name a few.

LVMH’s CEO Bernard Arnault issued the following statement: “We are all shocked by this terrible news. Virgil was not only a genius designer and a visionary, he was also a man with a beautiful soul and great wisdom. The LVMH family joins me in this moment of great sorrow and we are all thinking of his loved ones on the passing of their husband, father, brother, son and friend.”

Young Dolph Shot and Killed in Memphis

Young Dolph has shot and killed in his hometown of Memphis. The rapper was 36.

Born Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., the rapper was shot outside of Makeda’s Butter Cookies. Staff told FOX13 that Dolph came in the store to buy cookies when a vehicle pulled up and opened fire, fatally striking the rapper around 1 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Dolph was just there a week ago showing love to the local business.

Fans hopped on Instagram Live and confirmed that it was Dolph’s vehicle that had been hit.

Young Dolph dropped his debut album King of Memphis in 2016. However, the Memphis native had been in the game for over ten years with notable mixtapes, Paper Route Campaign, High Class Street Music, East Atlanta Memphis and several others, collaborating with Gucci Mane and Peewee Longway.

In 2017, Dolph was shot and left in a critical but stable condition following an argument that occurred in Hollywood. That same year, over 100 shots were fired at Young Dolph‘s SUV in Charlotte, North Carolina during the CIAA sports tournament, where he was scheduled to perform. Dolph responded by dropping a mixtape titled, Bulletproof.

His most recent project, Dum and Dummer 2, with cousin and Paper Route Empire signee, Key Glock, dropped in March.

DaBaby & DaniLeigh Get Into Heated Argument on Instagram Live

Last night (Nov. 14), an argument between DaBaby and DaniLeigh ensued while DaniLeigh was feeding their 3-month old baby. All caught on Instagram Live, the heated exchange resulted in DaBaby calling the police on DaniLeigh for his safety.

DaniLeigh then hopped on her Instagram account to go on Live and began to argue with the police and refused to speak to them or leave the premises while telling fans that DaBaby was kicking her and their 3-month old baby out of the house.

The two have both issued statements via Instagram Stories.

“I just feel like it’s so unfair, this situation,” said Dani while on Instagram Live. “This whole time I’ve been nothing but straight with this man and tried, nothing but genuine pure love for this man from the jump, three years ago… It’s just very unfortunate.”

DaBaby reports that DaniLeigh’s family has disowned her for having a baby with a Black man.

“I done dropped everything for my baby to have a good life…and for her to know her dad,” Dani added. “I will go figure it out like I always have since I’ve been young. Never depended on a man.”

Just a year ago, DaBaby’s baby mama, MeMe, called out DaniLeigh after Dani and DaBaby went public.

UPDATE: DaniLeigh has been charged with two counts of simple assault following the incident captured on Instagram Live. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) told news reporter Joe Bruno that DaBaby told CMPD that Dani assaulted him.
