On Thursday (Dec. 22), G Herbo was a guest on the latest episode of REVOLT’s Caresha Please.

During the hour long episode which has amassed a million view in 24 hours, Yung Miami and G Herbo got into a slew of topics, including his new album Survivor’s Remorse, PTSD, and infidelity.

G Herbo admitted to Yung Miami that he cheated on Ari with Taina Williams. “Did you cheat on Ari with Taina?” Yung Miami followed up. “Yea,” said G Herbo.  “Technically, yea. I was young, I was dumb. I ain’t know no better. I was just doing shit.”

He then got into detail about why him and Ari Fletcher didn’t last and what he’s learned from the situation (18:25).

“Me and Ari was at a space, and I done talked to her about this already, I done already bid my peace and apologized,” G Herbo began. “But we was at a space where, like I said, mentally I be going through shit and I gotta separate myself from shit. Me and her was having our differences but that was no excuse to cheat on her, that was not why I cheated on her. I didn’t intentionally do all that.”

He then went into detail on how the infidelity started.

“I was naïve to that though,” he explained. “I ain’t never been around a woman who was suffering from postpartum depression or none of that. And at the same time, when she was going through that, I had just lost one of my best friends, I lost my homie C Money. So I was super stressed and shit. But that ain’t no excuse, I ain’t making no excuse. I had to make peace with myself early on. Cuz I thought I was right back then.”

“We was at a space where we wasn’t communicating like that,” he continued. “We wasn’t having sex, I wasn’t coming home to my family, I’m sleeping in the studio every night. So in my brain, I’m like, ‘Aight, I ain’t cheating ’cause I’m not having sex with her and going and having sex with somebody else.’ But in actuality I was though.”
