There seems to be a new musical endeavor in the works for singer, songwriter, and actress Halle Bailey as she was captured in a picture amongst R&B legends such as Johntá Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox, and Jermaine Dupri. On their separate Instagram accounts, the three songwriters accompanying Bailey make note of their first day “in the lab.”

The quartet makes for a high caliber production team. Considering the advancements that the producers have made in R&B with household names like Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Usher and more, many followers are already expecting nothing short of virtuosity.

Halle has also been teasing some new music on her TikTok while she vacationed in the Maldives. With clips of her cycling and dancing through the islands, she sings “I know you always [leave] but baby follow me, any type of day I’ll give you what you need.” The teaser gives the impression of a serene love song.

Johntá took to Twitter to attest that Halle’s “pen game is crazy” which is consistent with the previous projects that she and her sister, Chloe Bailey have written and produced from their debut and sophomore albums, respectively titled “The Kids Are Alright” and “Ungodly Hour.”

With a film as iconic as ‘The Little Mermaid‘ and an upcoming project backed by certified music moguls, Halle Bailey’s growing résumé only suggests future greatness.
