Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna ‘YaYa’ Mayweather, was arrested early Saturday (April 4) morning on a felony aggravated assault charge after allegedly stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, the baby’s mother of Kentrell “NBA Youngboy” Gaulden, in Houston.

According to TMZ, the assault took place at 1:30 a.m. at NBA Youngboy’s home in Houston. Gaulden was home with Jacobs when Mayweather arrived and told Jacobs that she was his fiancée. Mayweather then told Jacobs to leave, which led to an argument between the two women. The argument then led into the kitchen where Mayweather retrieved two knives.

Jacobs took a step towards Mayweather and in turn, Mayweather allegedly began to charge at Jacobs with one of the knives. Jacobs told law enforcement she was stabbed twice, and did not feel the first wound at first, but surely felt the second. When EMTs arrived, Jacobs was found on laying on the floor. Jacobs was taken to the hospital. However, her condition is unknown.

NBA Youngboy was briefly handcuffed for precautionary measure, but was released soon after.

Mayweather told police that Jacobs pulled on her hair outside of the house before running to the kitchen. Mayweather is currently in custody at the Houston’s Harris County jail.
