J. Cole and Daniel Caesar Perform ‘Friends’ at BET Awards
After an electrifying opening of the BET Awards performed by Jay Rock, J. Cole treated the audience to a moving performance of his K.O.D. album cut, “Friends.” With some assistance from Daniel Ceasar and a cameo by Wale who sat in a chair with a table of pill bottles, the theme of the performance was ‘Choose Wisely,’ as Cole began to talk about the root and effects of addiction.
