Two weeks ago, Kendrick Lamar dissed J. Cole and Drake on Metro Boomin and Future‘s We Don’t Trust You album cut, “Like That.”

“Muthaf–k the big three, n—a, it’s just big me. N—a, bum, what? I’m really like that,” rapped Kendrick Lamar, in response to J. Cole’s bar on Drake’s “First Person Shooter.

In retaliation, J. Cole responded on the last track of his new project, Might Delete Later, on a track titled “7 Minute Drill” where he referred to Kendrick’s second album To Pimp A Butterfly boring and his last album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers as  “tragic.”

“He still doin’ shows, but fell off like the Simpsons/ Yo first shit was classic, yo last shit was tragic/
Yo second shit put ni**as to sleep but they gassed it/Yo third shit was massive and that was yo prime/I was trailin’ right behind and I just now hit mine/Now I’m front of the line with a comfortable lead/How ironic, now that I got it he want somethin’ with me”

J. Cole also rapped on the song, “he averaging 1 hard verse like every 30 months or something/If he wasn’t dissing, we wouldn’t be discussing him.”
