J. Cole To Release Three Albums before Retirement

Back in October, J. Cole officially launched his Dreamville media entities, Dreamville Ventures and Dreamville Studios, alongside former Complex Media editor-in-chief, Damien Scott, and former Senior VP of Development at Wilmore Films, Candace Rodney, to produce original content for TV, film, music, publishing, apparel and live events, including Cole’s annual Dreamville Festival.

However, Cole still has some unfinished business on the music side of things. Earlier this week, the Fayetteville rapper took to social to reveal that he would be dropping three more album before his official retirement. With the caption, “I still got some goals I gotta check off for’ I scram…,” Cole continues The Fall Off Era with three album titles written on his list, The Off-Season, It’s A Boy and lastly, The Fall Off.

J. Cole completed numerous features in 2019 including “Family and Loyalty” with GangStarr, “A Lot” with 21 Savage, “Purple Heart” with Ty Dolla $ign and “Shea Butter Babywith Ari Lennox. The rapper also released the Dreamville Records compilation Revenge of The Dreamers 3 featuring Ari Lennox, Cozz, JID, EarthGang, Omen, Bas and many more.

Last January, J. Cole kicked off The Fall Era with the single, “Middle Child” and went on to diss Noname with “Snow On Tha Bluff” after her criticisms about him on twitter.
