Jai’Len Josey From Broadway to Center Stage in the Music World
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Jai’Len Josey has seamlessly transitioned from a celebrated Broadway performer to a rising star in the music industry. Making her Broadway debut as Pearl Krabs in the Spongebob Squarepants Musical, Jai’Len has proven her prowess on the stage. A winner of the 2014 Jimmy Awards, she has continued to captivate audiences with her performances, including a notable appearance in Audelco’s 2019 Best Musical, “The Secret Life of Bees,” in an Off-Broadway production. Now, Jai’Len is embarking on a new chapter, embracing her first love, music.
From Broadway to Music, Jai’Len’s journey in the entertainment industry is nothing short of remarkable, with her background in regional theater, which includes her role in “Witness Uganda” at Wallis Annenberg. Jai’Len has showcased her versatility as a performer, but not limited to the stage, she also made her mark in voice-over work, lending her talent to Nickelodeon’s “Nella The Princess Knight” and PBS Kids’ “Pinkalicious & Peterific.”
Diving into the world of music, Jai’Len achieved a significant milestone by writing, co-producing, and performing the song for Olay’s first ALS commercial, titled “Rhythm of Olay.” Her commitment to her craft and undeniable talent caught the attention of BET’s AmpliFIND, where she emerged as the winner in the first competition for indie artists.
Earlier in 2023 marked a pivotal moment in Jai’Len Josey’s music career, by releasing her first full length album, “Southern Delicacy”, giving her the momentum needed to tap into her latest project release “Conversations From A Payphone” EP.
