Jay-Z has never been the type to do major promotion for an album. However, since the release of his 13th studio album, 4:44, the Brooklyn legend has performed at his annual ‘Made In America‘ Music Festival for the first time since 2015 and recently performed at the second annual music festival, ‘The Meadows‘ at Citi Field in New York City.

Making his way to the UK this time around, Jay-Z stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform “Family Feud” and dedicated his “Numb/Encore” performance to Linkin Park member, Chester Benning.

Followed by the performance, Jay-Z sat down with BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo to talk about social media, adding his personal touch to 4:44, Blue Ivy‘s contribution to the album, Chester Benning’s death, Donald Trump as president, and much more.
