Last night, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy closed out the 2023 GRAMMY awards with a performance of their nominated song ‘God Did‘.
DJ Khaled started the performance from inside the Crypto.com arena before joining Fridayy, John Legend, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne for their star-studded verses, outside.
The performance then panned to a table where JAY-Z sat with the aforementioned names, as well as longtime friends OG Juan and Emory Jones to the left and right of him. The group mirrored the last supper and fans watched as JAY-Z perform his four minute verse.
‘God Did’ was nominated for three Grammy awards: song of the year, best rap performance and best rap song; and serves as the title track of DJ Khaled’s 13th studio album.
