Rap Radar unleashes part two of Hov’s interview where he talks about his mom’s sexuality, the meaning behind Sir & Rumi Carter’s names and more.

Original Story (8/18):

Since the relaunch of the Rap Radar podcast under the podcast network ‘TIDAL On Air,’ hip-hop journalists Elliott Wilson and Brian “B. Dot” Miller have interviewed a variety of guests this year including Cardi B, A$AP Twelvyy, Vic Mensa. For their 10th episode, the duo landed an interview with none other than Tidal’s head honcho, Jay-Z.

Serving as Hov’s first interview since the release of 4:44, there was, of course, plenty to cover. Titled, “Jay-Z: Part 1,” we learn about the process of making Hov’s 13th album, the misinterpretation of some of his most notable lyrics off the album, the mysterious yet strategic marketing rollout, the album’s length and co-production, not reconciling his relationship with Kanye West, and so much more.
