This year, Joe Budden proved to be a jack of many trades. Since entering retirement from rap, the New Jersey native has rebranded himself, turning things around with ‘The Joe Budden Podcast,’ adding visual content for fans to see and venturing off to other platforms, becoming a host on Complex News’ “Everyday Struggle.”

Recently becoming a dad again to a newborn this past week, Budden shows no signs of slowing down as he’s just announced a new concert series for creatives titled, Oh: What A Night.

Serving as a kick off to his residency at New York City’s Highline Ballroom, a home to many of his sold-out shows, Joe Budden is calling on all types of musicians, artists, dancers, comedians, and content creators to hone their crafts and show the New York City audience what they’re really made of on this magical night.

“On this one night, I just wanna highlight the creators,” Budden states in a promtional video for the forthcoming showcase on Instagram. “I wanna highlight the people that build things from nothing; whether that be comedy, whether that be art, whether that be music. There needs to be  somewhere where creators can come and own their craft. To hit that stage and perform. The essence of it all. Live music. We wanna bring all of that back. I feel there’s probably been a void in New York; and for all the amazing people that are here, we should be able to see it. So I’d like to see it.”
