Keke Palmer has been granted full custody of her nine-month-old son, Leodis, along with an order to prevent child abduction and a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, on Thursday (Nov. 9), following a series of disturbing incidents and allegations of physical abuse.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the granted restraining order is a significant step, and a hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5 to further address the matter.

The legal action comes in the wake of Palmer’s recent request for a restraining order against Darius Jackson, coupled with her plea for sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis. In detailed legal documents obtained by Us Weekly, the 30-year-old actress outlined a troubling history of alleged abuse by Jackson, 29, spanning their two-year relationship.

The most distressing incident, according to Palmer, occurred on November 5, as captured by security footage. Jackson is accused of trespassing into her home without consent, making threats, and physically assaulting her. Palmer describes a harrowing scene where he lunged for her neck, struck her, threw her over a couch, and stole her phone. This incident is cited as one of many instances of physical violence, including the destruction of personal property, verbal and emotional abuse, and threats involving a gun.

In response to the unfolding events, Darius Jackson’s brother, Sarunas Jackson, posted a now-deleted tweet addressing the allegeation. The tweet conveyed a strong disapproval of an unnamed person, describing them as “the most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person” and highlighting abusive tendencies. Sarunas also called for positive energy to be directed towards the child caught in the midst of the turmoil.

Palmer’s mother, in an Instagram video, claimed that she had approached Sarunas about previous domestic disputes, but no action was taken. She asserted that Sarunas, who portrayed himself as a “special guy” on Twitter, is disrespectful to women, echoing concerns about his character similar to those raised against his brother.
