King Von tragically lost his life in November 2020 after being fatally shot outside of a lounge following an argument with Quando Rondo’s entourage. King Von passed just weeks after the release of his debut album, Welcome to O Block.
A year and a half later, King Von’s team decided to treat fans with a posthumous release titled, What It Means To Be King. The album artwork, written in King Von’s handwriting, was picked by Von’s label Only The Family / EMPIRE. Featuring 19 tracks, What It Means To Be King contains guest appearances from 21 Savage, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Durk, G Herbo, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fivio Foreign, and more.
