Kodak Black In Federal Custody After Probation Violation

Kodak Black, born Bill Kapri, is currently in federal custody as a result of a probation violation.

He has been placed in the Federal Detention Center in Miami, FL. The specific reasons for his federal custody have not been disclosed, but it is apparent that he is presently incarcerated. Notably, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has not provided information regarding his release date on their website.

In a related incident earlier this month, Kodak Black was apprehended in Plantation, Florida, for cocaine possession and evidence tampering. According to reports from NBC Miami, the Florida native was taken into custody at Broward County Jail. Additional charges included improperly parking or stopping a vehicle and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Kodak Black has entered a plea of not guilty and has requested a trial by jury.
