The LAPD has arrested, Eric Holder, 29, who they believe was responsible for the murder of rapper, Nipsey Hussle.

According to CBS Los Angeles, Holder was taken into custody Tuesday (April 2) afternoon, just two days after Hussle was shot and killed in front of his clothing store, The Marathon, on Sunday, March 31, in the neighborhood of Hyde Park, Los Angeles.

Holder was arrested before 1:30 PM in the L.A. suburb of Bellflower, only 15 miles east of Crenshaw.

“Eric Holder, the suspected killer of Nipsey Hussle, has been arrested and is in police custody,” LAPD Headquarters stated in a tweet following the arrest. “Thank you to both our community for the heightened awareness/vigilance and our partners at @LASDHQ.”

Prior to the arrest, LAPD released a statement with details on what occurred Sunday. Holder shot at Hussle and two unidentified victims multiple times before running off and jumping into a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz in a nearby alley with an unidentified female driver managed to get away.

Since Holder’s arrest, the unidentified female driver has turned herself in and states that she had no prior knowledge about the shooting, TMZ reports.
