Lil Durk Faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit Amid Murder-For-Hire Allegations miixtapechiick

Lil Durk is now facing a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Lul Pab, the 23-year-old who was fatally shot in an alleged attempt on Quando Rondo’s life in August 2022.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Pab’s mother, Andrea Laquila Robinson, filed the lawsuit in a Chicago court, naming Durk, his label (Only The Family), an unnamed business manager, and an unnamed management company as responsible for her son’s death.

“The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community,” Robinson’s attorney stated. “We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need.”

Meanwhile, Durk remains behind bars, awaiting trial on federal murder-for-hire charges. Originally set to begin on January 7, 2025, the case has been pushed to October 14, with prosecutors citing the complexity of the evidence—including 230GB of digital files, 20,000 pages of reports, surveillance footage, medical records, and witness statements.

One of Durk’s co-defendants, Asa “Boogie” Houston, has opposed the delay, while another, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, is reportedly considering a plea deal.

In November 2024, court documents revealed that Durk was denied bond, with prosecutors citing his history of criminal behavior and interference. They also accused him of violating rules at Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Los Angeles by engaging in unauthorized three-way calls.

Durk was arrested on October 24 in Broward County, Florida, but federal authorities actually caught up with him near Miami International Airport on October 17, after discovering he had booked multiple international flights. A judge ordered him held without bond before transferring him to Los Angeles for arraignment.

The FBI Los Angeles Field Office issued a statement following his arrest:
“The apprehension of Mr. Banks as he attempted to leave the United States is proof that the FBI and our extraordinary partners at the LAPD have a long reach. No excuse can justify this violent act. While you’re going about your life, thinking you ‘got away with it,’ the FBI is piecing together the facts that will serve as your undoing.”

Durk is facing multiple federal charges, including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and using, carrying, and discharging firearms—including a machine gun—in furtherance of a violent crime. Prosecutors allege that he financed his OTF crew’s trip to California, where they tracked Quando Rondo’s movements, camped out at a hotel, and ambushed his car—resulting in the fatal shooting of Lul Pab. They also claim OTF operated as a criminal enterprise, using violence, including murder and assault, to maintain their influence under Durk’s leadership.

In November 2024, Durk was hit with two additional felony charges after a superseding indictment linked him to an alleged murder-for-hire plot.

The charges stem from an August 2022 shooting outside a gas station near the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, where Durk and five co-defendants—Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey and Asa Houston—were allegedly involved in an attempted hit on Quando Rondo (Tyquian Terrel Bowman).

The attack is rumored to be retaliation for the 2020 murder of King Von.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent miixtapechiick

D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.

A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”

The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

Ice Spice and Woman Throw Hands at Hollywood McDonald's miixtapechiick

Ice Spice threw hands with a woman at a McDonald’s in Hollywood on Wednesday, April 15, and the whole thing was caught on camera.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Ice Spice was at the restaurant with a friend when a woman approached their table uninvited and tried to squeeze in next to them. When Ice Spice and her friend asked her to leave, the woman slapped her. A brief scuffle followed before the woman’s friend pulled her away.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.

The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”

Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
