Tank and Tyrese Set to Face Off in VERZUZ Tonight MIIXTAPECHIICK

Tank and Tyrese are the next matchup in the VERZUZ series, going head to head tonight, March 26 at 8:30 PM ET. The event streams live on Apple Music.

Both artists are bringing deep catalogs to the stage. Tank, known for hits like “Maybe I Deserve” and “Please Don’t Go,” has been one of R&B’s most consistent vocalists and songwriters, with credits extending well beyond his own discography. Tyrese built his following with cuts like “Sweet Lady” and “How You Gonna Act Like That,” crossing over from music to film and back again over the course of his career.

Fans can tune in 30 minutes early for a pre-show hosted by Complex’s Jordan Rose and Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, covering catalog breakdowns, song predictions, and guest appearances. After the event, a 20-minute recap show will follow. The full performance will also be available on demand after the broadcast. A warm-up playlist featuring both artists’ catalogs is available now on Apple Music.

VERZUZ was created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland and first launched in 2020, later relaunching through a partnership with Apple Music and Complex.

Before hitting the stage at the official Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show press conference in New Orleans, Kendrick Lamar sat down with Apple Music Radio hosts Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis.

For me, this means everything because it puts the culture on the forefront, where it needs to be, not just minimized to a catchy song or verse. This is a true art form. I live and die by it. This shit done changed my whole family’s life. I don’t take it for granted at all.”
