The 5th annual ‘Made In America’ music festival went underway this past weekend (9/2 – 9/3) in Philadelphia. With Cardi B holding her own at the Liberty stage, she made the announcement that her debut album would be dropping this October on Atlantic Records, after performing her smash record, “Bodak Yellow.”

“Thank you everybody it was fun,” she told the crowd. “Thank you ya’ll. Let me remind you I’m dropping my album in October.”

Following her announcement, Cardi B exited the stage and fans proceeded to rush to the Rocky stage to catch Atlanta trio, Migos, Solange, and headliner, J. Cole.

A take away from each performance, Solange encouraged fans to love the skin their in and to continue to fight for what they believe in, while J. Cole gave fans advice on living their life to the fullest and not being affected by what he calls a ‘Ville Mentality.’
