Meek Mill Debuts ‘Stay Woke’ with Miguel at 2018 BET Awards
After performing at Hot 97’s Summer Jam earlier this month, Philly’s own Lil Uzi Vert, Kevin Hart, Questlove, and Black Thought introduce Meek Mill to the BET Awards stage for a powerful performance of his new single, “Stay Woke” featuring Miguel.
Donned in a black hoodie with XXXtentacion in the front and Jimmy Wopo on the back in memory of them after being fatally shot earlier this week, Meek Mill calls out the current status of America and encourages all of us to be aware of the issues surrounding mass incarceration, police brutality, and gun violence.
