On February 4th, the Philadelphia Eagles took home the Super Bowl LII championship trophy. Coming out on to the field with Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro),” the Philly rapper couldn’t have been any more proud. Following the festivities, Tee Grizzley decided to release the highly anticipated remix to his street smash, “First Day Out,” which some say is equivalent to the energy of the “Dreams And Nightmare (Intro).”

In an exclusive statement to NBC’s John Clark, Meek Mill started how proud he was of the Philadelphia Eagles and how humble he continues to be as he remains behind bars.

“All the heart that the Eagles showed in winning the Super Bowl has given the best fans in the world real hope and inspiration and I’m truly humbled,” Meek says in the statement. After acknowledging how badly he wishes he could be there to celebrate with everyone, he ends his statement with some optimism on his case.

I have faith that truth and justice will win out in the end.”
