Megan Thee Stallion Details 2020 Shooting in New Interview with Gayle King

Megan Thee Stallion has opened up about the 2020 shooting that left her getting shot in her feet allegedly by Tory Lanez for the first time in a televised interview with CBS Mornings co-host, Gayle King.

During the interview, Megan Thee Stallion tells Gayle King that Tory did in fact shoot her following an argument that ensued after leaving a party in the Hollywood Hills, alongside her best friend, Kelsey Harris. “It was an argument because I was ready to go and everybody else wasn’t ready to go. But that’s, like, normal friend stuff,” Thee Stallion explains. “It shouldn’t have got this crazy.”

“So I get out of the car and it’s like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming. And he said, ‘Dance, bitch.’ And he started shooting. And I’m just like, ‘Oh, my God.’ Like, he shot a couple of times. And I was so scared.”

An emotional Megan went into further detail about the July 2020 incident stating “He is standing up over the window shooting. And I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick. I don’t know if he’s gonna shoot something that’s, like, super important. I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me.”

“He is standing up over the window shooting. And I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too quick,” the rapper said. She told King that at the time she thought, “I don’t know if he’s gonna shoot something that’s, like, super important. I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me.” 

Following the shooting, Megan stated Tory was very apologetic, however, wanted to pay Megan and Kelsey $1 million to keep quiet. “He said, ‘I’m so sorry, please don’t tell nobody. I’ll give y’all a million dollars if y’all don’t say nothing.’”
