Megan Thee Stallion’s Legal Team Releases Evidence Breakdown Amid Tory Lanez ‘New Evidence’ Claims
As talk of “new evidence” continues to trend online and gains political backing, Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team is pushing back with receipts — this time in the form of a detailed PowerPoint presentation aimed at correcting misinformation surrounding Tory Lanez’s conviction.
The timing of the release comes after Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna posted a thread on X claiming Lanez had been wrongfully convicted. In the tweet, Luna referenced a newly surfaced affidavit from Kelsey Harris’ former bodyguard, who allegedly claimed Kelsey was the one who fired the gun in the 2020 incident — not Lanez. Luna also suggested the Ring doorbell audio and DNA evidence supported this new theory, and publicly called on California Governor Gavin Newsom to issue a pardon.
Megan’s team quickly responded with a breakdown of the facts presented at trial — and directly refuted many of the viral claims.
In the presentation, they clarify that the Ring camera audio isn’t new. It was already entered as Trial Exhibit 12 and played for the jury. While it captured the sound of five gunshots, it did not support the narrative that Kelsey fired the weapon or that Tory tried to stop her.
The presentation also points to sworn trial testimony — not online speculation — as the foundation for Lanez’s conviction. That includes Megan herself, medical professionals, LAPD forensic experts, and independent witness Sean Kelly, who testified that “the short guy shot the girl,” describing the shooter as having his arms outstretched and firing four to five times.
Another key point addressed: Jaquan Smith, Lanez’s own driver and bodyguard, was present at the courthouse during the trial but was never called to the stand. Smith’s statement came only after trial and has never been subject to cross-examination. That decision by Lanez’s team, according to the presentation, was strategic and raises questions about the credibility of post-trial declarations now being used to cast doubt on the case.
The presentation also highlights a pattern — unsworn statements and social media rumors are being positioned against sworn, in-court testimony and forensic evidence. Names like Daystar Peterson (Lanez), blogger Milagro Cooper, and bodyguard Bradley James are cited as spreading narratives inconsistent with the evidence, none of whom testified under oath.
Meanwhile, the prosecution’s case relied on multiple verified sources: DNA evidence pointing to a male contributor, gunshot residue found on Kelsey’s hands, and Megan’s injuries consistent with being shot — not with stepping on glass, as initially claimed by Lanez and his supporters. A text apology from Lanez to Megan, along with testimony that he offered both women $1 million to keep quiet, were also part of the official case record.
At the center of this PowerPoint is a reminder: the jury heard and reviewed all of this and still came to a unanimous verdict.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent
D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”
The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Three Members of Danity Kane Say Two Others Booked a June 20 Show Without Their Knowledge
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.
A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”
The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
