Megan Thee Stallion’s Defamation Trial Against Milagro Cooper Continues as Testimony Nears End
Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation trial against blogger Milagro Cooper moved fast this week, with emotional testimony, major revelations about the fallout Megan faced, and a last‑minute filing from the defense as the jury began deliberating. The trial started Monday, Nov. 17 in Miami federal court.
On Wednesday, Megan’s friend and manager Travis Farris told the jury that she entered a treatment center that cost $240,000 a month after Cooper posted a deepfake porn video of her online. He said Megan came to him in tears, apologizing that he had to see the video, and that the situation pushed her into intensive therapy. Legal reporter Meghann Cuniff shared that Farris described how the online harassment affected Megan’s ability to function day to day.
Roc Nation executive Daniel Kinney testified that several brand deals fell apart during this period, including opportunities with Activision, Google Pixel, Just Eat Takeaway, and the U.S. Soccer Federation. He said Megan backed out of the Call of Duty deal when she learned she would be a shootable character in the game and told him she couldn’t handle that emotionally.

“That triggered her and she full stop said ‘I’m not doing this,’” Kinney said.

On Thursday, Megan took the stand and broke down as she explained what the online attacks did to her. She told the jury she reached a point where she didn’t care if she lived or died and that she felt exhausted and overwhelmed by the negativity that followed her online. She said she never considered harming herself because she refused to give people what they wanted, and she hoped speaking out would help other women feel comfortable telling their truth.
Cooper testified on Monday and Tuesday for almost thirteen hours total. Megan was in court each day. Wednesday included testimony from Farris, Kinney, and Dr. Lenore Walker. On Thursday, the jury heard from Amiel Holland‑Briggs, Sean McDermott, and Megan. On Friday, Megan returned to the stand for a shorter session before the case went to the jury.
Once the jury began deliberating, Cooper’s attorney Jeremy McLymont filed a memorandum arguing that Cooper qualifies as a media defendant under Florida law because of her work hosting a daily Stationhead show, her interviews with public figures, and her income coming from broadcasting. He said Megan was required to give pre‑suit notice under section 770.01 and didn’t, and that this should either block punitive damages or affect the claims. The filing arrived Saturday while the jury was already considering the case.
Megan accuses Cooper of spreading false statements, promoting an altered sexual depiction, cyberstalking, and pushing commentary that questioned whether she was shot. She also says Cooper acted in connection with Tory Lanez and his father, though Tory isn’t a defendant.
Testimony is expected to conclude Monday, Nov. 24. The jury has not yet begun deliberating. A gag order remains in place.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent
D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”
The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Three Members of Danity Kane Say Two Others Booked a June 20 Show Without Their Knowledge
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.
A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”
The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
