Mike Zombie & Benzi Ayo Release ‘Ea$tside Story’ Project + Share “Dope” Music Video

With the South Jersey music scene receiving more spotlight than ever before, OVO Sound affiliated producer Mike Zombie teams up with fellow Willingboro native, Benzi Ayo for a 12-track project titled Ea$tside Story.

“Me and Mike came up around the same people…The people wanted this project, so we did it,” Benzi says.

With an undeniable chemistry, Mike and Benzi trade boastful rhymes over diverse production courtesy of Beasely Bangorz, Young And Fly, and of course, ZOTT (Zombie On The Track), who produced five tracks, not including his solo joint, “Night With The Henny.”

Mike and Benzi acknowledge their contrasting paths in life while finding irony in their similarities on tracks like “My Fault.”

“Crazy how we got the same goons, but we walk in different shoes,” Mike raps.

Another stand-out cut from the project is “North$tar,” where the two rappers sit back, and croon about their hard-work thus far. Reminding us the grind isn’t easy, Mike and Benzi are getting the job done and doing it their own way.

Fans are also treated to Benzi Ayo’s official “Dope” music video with the release of the project.
