It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from legendary battle rapper, Murda Mook. After going against Loaded Lux back in 2014 at Total Slaughter, we’ve waited for his highly anticipated battle with Drake, as well as Tsu Surf, however it didn’t happen. Now far from people’s minds, Murda Mook made his way to Hot 97 to kick it with Funkmaster Flex and spit some bars, as part of Flex’s Freestyle series.

Following the release of the freestyle, Busta Rhymes recent appearance on Noreaga’s “Drink Champs” podcast featured an announcement that Mook had just signed to his Conglomerate record label. Now joining N.O.R.E., O.T. Genesis, J-Doe, and Nikki Grier, we can only imagine what’s in store for the Harlem native.
