NBA YoungBoy Released From Jail on Bond

After spending several months in prison, NBA YoungBoy is now a free man.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was granted bond by Louisiana Chief U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick, on Friday (Oct. 22) after being arrested back in March and placed in FBI custody after being wanted on an outstanding warrant on drug and weapons charges from a September 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge.
During the March arrest, the rapper failed to pull over his vehicle and when he did, decided to take off on foot. LAPD retrieved a weapon from the vehicle and YoungBoy was placed in federal custody after the pursuit that involved a K-9 dog and a helicopter.
As part of his release, NBA YoungBoy will remain on 24-hour house arrest in Utah and is to wear an ankle monitor. According to @LawyerforWorkers, only family is allowed to live with the rapper and he is allowed only three visitors at a time. All visitors must be approved by the judge. However, before all this can happen, YoungBoy “must post a $1.5 million property bond or put $500,000 cash into a trust account of his attorneys before he can be released to home confinement,” TheAdvocate reports.
The rapper also submit to drug testing.
While incarcerated, NBA YoungBoy’s team released Sincerely, Kentrell, which debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.
